Upgrade the magazine latch plunger spring (part B-37) in your Ruger® 10/22®
Replace with the standard or 25% higher tension spring

Installation instructions:

Push out the magazine lever pin and pull the magazine lever down while slightly pressing in on the magazine latch plunger. Once the magazine lever is out the plunger will pull out of the trigger guard completely. After slipping the magazine latch plunger into the spring slide it in the trigger guard. While holding the plunger slightly depressed, put the magazine lever back in the trigger making sure it fits in the cut out of the plunger properly, then put the pin back in the magazine lever to hold everything in place. Function the magazine lever to make sure that the plunger is retracting as it is supposed to retract.

Spring

I love the extra tension of this spring in holding the magazines more securely. It gives that extra feel when loading you know it is set in place, and it takes a little more effort to release, which I like, to prevent accidentally releasing mags.

Small but fantastic way to upgrade your stock 10/22. I was having some issues with magazines being loose and failure to cycle every so often. This higher tension spring holds the magazines more secure and it has helped my cycling issues a lot. This paired with the KIDD upgraded magazine release is a great upgrade.

Worth it

This is a great upgrade or replacement for a factory magazine plunger. With the added tension it helps hold the magazine in the mag well (removes magazine slop)

Plunger spring

Makes releasing your magazine a little easier. The spring is alittle stiffer than an oem. Bought several for my other rifles. As always great to deal with and super shipping.
