Avoiding chassis flex — our engineering
Starting from a 6061-T6 billet block, this chassis is precision-milled
into a long, stable platform ideal for supported or prone shooting. The
elongated 14 5/16" forend
provides generous accessory mounting space while keeping rigidity at the
forefront. The built-in access port allows Supergrade users to adjust or swap
barrels without removing the action, preserving fitment and repeatable zero.
With non-tang receivers, the included stabilizer screw applies light upward
tension to secure the action—just 10
in-lb is enough. For shooters using the KIDD Rear Tang, the system
locks in with full tang support and requires no stabilizer screw.
Installation & break-in tips
·
Install the tang filler for non-tang receivers
before seating the action
·
Tighten the stabilizer screw hand-tight only—approximately 10 in-lb
·
Avoid over-torquing to prevent pushing the
action forward
·
Skip the stabilizer screw entirely when using a KIDD Rear Tang receiver
·
Ensure proper fitment with chosen AR-15
buttstock, grip, tube, and accessory options
·
Reconfirm M-LOK® and hardware torque after the
first range session
