Upgrade to a Stainless Steel magazine latch plunger for your 10/22®
Hardened stainless steel with standard spring included
Better magazine hold
Replace your factory magazine latch plunger (part B-36 & B-37) with a new KIDD stainless steel version. With upgraded geometry to both hold your magazine more stable and let it release easier. Your choice of an additional spring tension; standard or 25% higher tension for more resistance.
Installation instructions:
Push out the magazine lever pin and pull the magazine lever down while slightly pressing in on the magazine latch plunger. Once the magazine lever is out the plunger will pull out of the trigger guard completely. After slipping the magazine latch plunger into the spring slide it in the trigger guard. While holding the plunger slightly depressed, put the magazine lever back in the trigger making sure it fits in the cut out of the plunger properly, then put the pin back in the magazine lever to hold everything in place. Function the magazine lever to make sure that the plunger is retracting as it is supposed to retract.

Owner
Just bought a new Ruger Charger and the 15 round magazine was sloppy fitting. Ordered this kit with the heavier spring...easy install...and it tightened up the magazine noticibly. Excellent quality. Would recommend to anyone looking for more reliability.

Must Have!
This made my jam-o-matic 22 takedown completely reliable with every ammunition type. I was having failure to feed issues with standard velocity. The rifle would only function with high velocity. Once I put in the plunger (and extra strength spring), I couldn't make the thing fail. 25, 15, and 10 round magazines all functioned flawlessly. KIDD parts are quality parts!

Must Have
If you have a polymer trigger housing and use BX-25s, the enhanced Kidd Magazine Latch with the high tension spring is a must have. It seriously snugs up the loose fit of the BX-25 in the magwell. I put these in all my polymer units.

Mr
The magazine latch plunger with the heavier duty spring helps tighten up the magazine as it seats in the receiver. Big help stopping stovepipes.

A must do Mod
Had feeding problems with 25 round mags, Someone suggested trying this before doing some sort of mod to the magazine. Worked so good, now all six of my 10/22's have it with the HD spring. On a 10/22, this should be the 2nd you change, The trigger is number one on the list.
