Guide rod and spring for the 10/22® bolt handle assembly
Intended to be used with a KIDD Bolt Handle
Interchangeable tuning springs: (white spring=standard, red spring =10% increase, green=10% decrease)

Precision ground guide rod is made from hardened tool steel and held to 2/10,000" tolerance throughout its entire length. The rod is nitride treated which gives its surface a 70C rockwell (harder than a file) surface hardness. Guaranteed the smoothest and slickest guide rod in the industry. The three springs come in varying tensions for the ultimate modification. With this kit, KIDD provides a standard spring tension then includes, a 10% lighter and 10% heavier spring for tuning your cycling. We recommend that the KIDD Bolt Handle also be purchased with this kit in lieu of trying to cut the factory bolt assembly.

KIDD guide rod and spring set

Great to have the ability to change the spring for different ammo. I shoot a lot of subsonic and supersonic ammo and this 3 spring set will accommodate anything.

EXCELLENT!!!

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND all of the upgrades offered by Kidd!!!! I liked my ruger 10/22 NOW BECAUSE OF THE KIDD PARTS I LOVE MY RUGER 10/22!!!!!!

Works great, just one minor problem

The guide rod is made real well, along with the 3 springs. The only issue i’ve had is getting the guide rod and spring back into the receiver with the bolt. That’s because there’s no way to retain the spring like the factory one, or other aftermarket ones (most seem to offer a c-clip to hold the spring on instead of leaving it loose.) Besides that though it works amazingly well. Real smooth and definitely worth the price.

Nice spring set

I purchased these from kidd on eBay a few years ago and I'm still using them I love the selection I use the light spring for my subsonics. The guide rod is buttery smooth

BUY THIS!

Was skeptical about just how good it was and how much better it can be than stock but figured id try it let me just say it is life changing how smooth the action is now i cut my old guid rod to get my stock charging handle and it still worked great with oem handle i thought this was one of them gimmicks to spend money on but it made ny 22 butter smooth shipping was also fantastic it shipped a day later (i ordered it late at night) if you order early would probably ship sane day and arrived 3 days early from expected date great product and great website to buy upgrades i will be buying from here again!

Top Notch

Let me first start by saying all Kidd products are top notch and beyond! I own a Kidd Supergrade and every time at the range I say wow! That said, the guide rod and springs are naturally top notch. Red spring is made of the thickest wire, for higher velocity ammo, white spring is for standard velocity ammo, green is for subsonic. All springs do what they are designed to do! My only concern is that over time, the paint on each spring seems to wear off making it difficult to know which spring is which. No big deal as I put calipers on the wires and look for the spring tension I want for the ammo I’m using.

Great Kit

I had some bolt cycling issues with different ammo. I order the kit so I could adjust the bolt spring weight. It worked perfectly. Great product.
