Eliminate irregular rim indentation due to a blunt or improper firing pin. Our KIDD Firing Pin made from a wire EDM machine replaces the tool and die process of stamping out the factory firing pin. This difference in production results in a much higher quality part for your rifle.

Installation Note:

The compression spring is directional in nature due to one end being conical. When installing the spring be sure to keep the big end toward the bolt face and the smaller end (conical) towards the rear.

Great Quality

Vs the factory pin+spring, the fit and feel is noticeably better. My goal with this pin was to help ignition on very cheap Armscor ammo. Previously it was about 50% fail rate, with this it's between 30-40% so an improvement but not as much as I'd hoped.

Great Firing Pin

Began having light strikes with my factory firing pin. Replaced it with the Kidd firing pin and the gun runs flawlessly with the new pin. Shot two Steel Challenge Matches with it and no light strikes.

Kidd firing pin

Awesome firing pin. I replaced the pin, springs and extractor and I have ran approximately 1000 rounds through the gun with no problems at all. I will use Kidd products for all my future builds.

Firing Pin and Spring

Easy install as per KIDD video. Went to the range today. 100 rounds of CCI SV. No misfires. You can really see a deeper casing strike with this new pin. Excellent upgrade!

Very nice, absolutely no FTF after about 350 rounds of bulk Thunderbolt ammo, plus a some others. The picture doesn't do it justice. Mine appeared smoother looking and I thought better than the website picture. I'll admit the coil pin on my rifle was hard to get out, but after some muscle all is very good. I'm very pleased with the performance vs stock.

No FTF's

Installed the firing pin a few days ago, got to test it out today. 200 rounds no FTF. Another excellent KIDD modification..... This stock Ruger is slowly evolving into a whole new Rifle. I would recommend this to everyone.

Quality Product

Ordered this firing pin as part of the upgrades to my two Ruger 10/22s. When compared side by side the difference in striking, excuse the pun. Workmanship is always present with Kidd products. Went to the range with my rifles and had positive results with different brands of ammo, with no misfires. I highly recommend the product.

Perfect

I just installed this in my rifle, went to the range, Perfect. I was having 3-4 miss fires every 10 round clip(with cheap ammo), now it work flawlessly. Thanks Tony, and CO.
