This handle is made to work with our guide rod and spring kit. The bolt handle length is 1 3/4", which is 1/4" longer than the factory bolt handle giving greater clearance for the shooter's knuckles while racking the bolt. Note: if you are thinking about swapping this handle with your current Ruger® bolt assembly, their handle is fixed to their guide rod spring assembly and can not be removed without permanent alterations. We recommend purchasing our guide rod and spring kit with this handle if you don't already have it.

Excellent Upgrade

Machining is excellent ! Gives the entire action a “solid” robust feeling. I have used these with both factory and KIDD bolts and wouldn’t even consider going back to the stock ones !
