-Aftermarket replacement for the 10/22® bolt stop

-Steel core with padded tubing cover

-Eliminate “bolt battering” of the receiver

-Dampen cycling vibration

This 10/22® accessory is a must have!  An inexpensive quick to install upgrade.  A great addition if you want

less battering, vibration, and recoil noise.  Not recommended for use with magnum receivers.

Installation instructions:

First install the tubing beginning from the inside center of the receiver and pushing it out through the right

and left side.  (If you attempt to thread the tubing from the outside left or right it’s more difficult) Second

from the outside of the receiver thread/push the dowel pin through the tubing.  Note, the cocking handle and

bolt will need to be installed prior to the KIDD bolt buffer.

Quiets the action
This bolt buffer really quotes down the bolt as it cycles. I’ve had it I’m my rifle for a while now and am very happy with its performance. I no longer have that annoying clank sound every time I shoot the rifle.

Mr.
Bought a used 10/22 target. Jammed almost every time the bolt was locked. I removed the trigger unit and found the polymer bolt buffer was gone with the ends still in the holes giving the impression the pin was still in place. Ordered the KIdd bolt buffer and installed. No more jamming. BTW using a shot of silicon spray on the rubber tube helps in the installation.

I love these buffers.
This I suppose was the least significant upgrade I did to my rifles, but I certainly like them. Were I crazy enough to want to pay an insane amount for a silencer and the associated tax, I suspect this mod would be invaluable. As it is, I just like the idea that my bolt and receiver are not beating each other to death.

Another well-made product
This was a bit of a pain to install, since the sleeve itself gets caught going in the 2nd hole... however, some spit and some patience got it in without too much of a headache. I haven't shot with it yet, but initial impression is solid.

Shhhh..
Didn't think it would make much difference.Wow.I was shocked at how loud the stock bolt stop was. Can't say it improved function any,but it did what it's supposed to do.
