The KIDD bolt comes complete with our pinned aftermarket firing pin and our extractor. Proper headspace allows the bullet to feed properly and the correct firing pin protrusion guarantees that there is not too much or too little firing pin contact with the rim of the case. This bolt is a flawless match for any KIDD .22lr receiver without modification. You can also use it to upgrade a factory 10/22
®
style receiver.

Perfect action
Recently upgraded my 10/22 with Kidd Trigger, Kidd Bokt, and Kidd buffer springs. First day at range and the firearm went from be being good to amazing, perfect groupings every time even with relatively chepa range ammo .

Super smooth
I purchased the black bolt not thinking that it would do a lot more than give me a nice smooth black bolt to match my rifle. You might have to file the rail on the inside a bit to get this to fit as it seems more square in the back and needs a little more clearance to get past the rail on the inside. This bolt seems to be a tighter fit in the receiver. It is machined very well. The rifle cycles smoother due to the radius on the back of the bolt to help push past the hammer. I did have issues with failures to feed, but realized this bolt is heavier than stock and my stock guide rod would bind and flex. If you purchase the bolt, do yourself a favor and complete the job with the guide rod assembly. The combination will make your rifle cycle like glass.
