Avoiding barrel droop — engineered fitment
Barrel droop is prevented by precision tenon and shoulder geometry: we use a resistance fit mortise-and-tenon (tenon slightly larger than the receiver mortise) and hold the tenon diameter uniform to avoid rocking. The shoulder between the .920" diameter and the tenon is machined as a clean step so the barrel seats flush and fully supported against the receiver.
When fit correctly, v-block screws only need to be snug (~10 in-lb): enough to keep the barrel from moving forward without pulling it out of alignment.
