18" Spiral Fluted .22LR Chromoly Bull Barrel — Engineered for Precision and Style
Stylish precision: Spiral fluting adds modern visual appeal without compromising performance. Guaranteed to group 1/2" at 50 yards (5 shots).
Match-grade craftsmanship: Bored and rifled by Lothar Walther in Germany, then hand-finished and lapped by Tony Kidd. Proprietary chamber reamer ensures smooth feeding for .22LR ammo.
Reliable extraction: Convex extractor slot keeps the extractor perfectly aligned with the case rim, a feature requiring expensive tooling and tight tolerances.
Muzzle detail: 11° crown with double ring and KIDD markings. Optional 1/2"-28 muzzle threading with protective cap.

KIDD eliminates barrel droop through:
Resistance fit: Tenon slightly larger than receiver mortise, consistent diameter along length.
Precision shoulder: .920" diameter shoulder seats flush against receiver, preventing tilt or rocking.
V-block screws: Only need to be snug (~10 in-lb) to secure barrel without altering alignment.
Remove paint/build-up from receiver mortise.
Apply anti-seize compound sparingly to tenon.
Start tenon in mortise, turn rifle over, tap receiver with rubber mallet, align extractor slot.
Run two magazines before evaluating groups; repeat when changing ammo brands.
Keep chamber clean, but avoid over-cleaning bore (~every 500 rounds, depending on ammo).
