.22 caliber muzzle brake
1/2" -28 thread
Silver .920" Stainless Steel
Black .920" blued chromoly
2" length
The Kidd .22 muzzle brake can be used on any .22 caliber rifle or pistol with 1/2" -28 threads. The purpose of a muzzle brake is to reduce the felt recoil of the rifle. A .22 caliber shot doesn't generate a great deal of recoil for the shooter but this item will still decrease it slightly. It also adds more weight to the muzzle end and looks great!
Educational note: a flash suppressor is intended to hide the flash from the target and a compensator or muzzle brake is meant to direct the gases to reduce the upward climb of the firearm.

Silver 28 Stainless Muzzle Break
Beautiful Machining and perfect finish. Nice target crown with a symmetrical port design (there is no "up" orientation), so there are no concerns regarding clocking - Just screw the brake on and tighten. There are no wrench flats to interrupt the smooth design. Just slip a small dowel or similar tool - I used a small Philips screwdriver, through the ports in the brake and snug it down.

Why Not ??!!
If you’re reading these reviews, or even on this site, then you are most likely aware of the costs involved with building or purchasing a precision rimfire rifle. It’s not cheap. So if you are going to spend your money on after market parts ……do so with the best ! The maching on these are world class resulting in a literal jewel like appearance. Do you need one of these with a rimfire rifle ? Of course not……..BUT you WANT ONE

Perfect in every way.
Went through a few other muzzle brakes till I decided to purchase the bead blasted stainless Kidd turbo Muzzle brake and after putting it on I felt dumb for not purchasing it sooner looks amazing on my bead blasted bull barrel from Kidd. Perfectly machined compared to some crap I’ve bought from volqaurtsen. Kidd has become my tried and true goto brand for my Precision .22’s. And assuming that your reading reviews your probably debating purchasing Kidd products or on the fence between brands and I’m here to say 100% Kidd is the way to go, you won’t be disappointed.

KIDD .22LR Muzzle Brake
I bought several for my cache of modified Ruger 10/22 rifles, and they look GREAT! No, the .22LR doesn’t have a lot of recoil to start with but the brakes add a “cool factor” because of their design and finish. Love them!

I put this on my Ruger American Rimfire Target (8366) .860 bull barrel and it looks great on it. I purchased the SMB in polished stainless and it looked like it was going to be about .06 too large and i would have a lip but the brake has a nice little chamfer at the beginning of the brake where it meets my barrel and it looks very nice and doesn't have a lip at all or i cant feel .01" of difference. The pictures don't really help on the size and design of everything but if you are matching the brake to a stainless barrel then yes it will match and yes it will look stock/clean. I dont know how the 28 would look on my smaller barrel but the SMB looks amazing. I imagine they want you to match these with the heavy 10/22 barrels they make but hey it looks good on mine.
