What makes it special

Pistol bull in a compact package: Full .920" bull contour scaled to 10"—gives the Charger™ the stiffness and sighting feel of a bull barrel without a rifle-length profile.
Match-grade origins: Bored & rifled by Lothar Walther (Germany), finished and hand-machined by Tony Kidd, and chambered with a proprietary reamer for smooth, reliable feeding.
Extraction reliability: Precision convex extractor slot keeps the extractor perfectly aligned with the case rim — a tight-tolerance feature that prevents common extraction problems.
Durable, show-quality finish: Polished blued chromoly delivers corrosion resistance and a premium appearance while maintaining KIDD-level dimensional control.
Improved harmonics & fit: Controlled tenon geometry and finish machining reduce unwanted movement and improve repeatable accuracy for a noticeable tightening of groups.

Fitment & avoiding barrel droop

Barrel droop is caused by an insecure or inconsistent tenon/shoulder fit. We eliminate droop with:

A precise fit between tenon and receiver, with a consistent diameter along the tenon length.
A precisely machined shoulder with a relief cut to allow the shoulder to seat flush against the receiver providing full support.

When properly fitted, v-block screws only need to be snug (~10 in-lb) — tight enough to prevent forward movement without distorting alignment.

Installation tips

If using another brand of receiver clean paint/build-up from the receiver mortise before installing.
Apply a light coat of grease to the tenon to ease installation—use sparingly.
Begin inserting the tenon while aligning the extractor slot. Tap the rear of the receiver with your palm; if resistance increases, use a rubber mallet to fully seat.
Recheck extractor alignment by matching the level of the receiver’s bottom flat with the barrel’s v-block cutout.
Run two magazines through the barrel before evaluating groups, and repeat when changing ammunition brands.
Keep the chamber clean but avoid over-cleaning the bore—excessive cleaning can reduce accuracy. Typical bore cleaning interval~ every 500 rounds, depending on ammo

10” bull barrel threaded

The service and professionalism from this manufacturer is excellent. The quality of this barrel is amazing it will hold a 1/4” 50yd group with a few different lots of sk and lapua ammo, the amazing part is that it shoots everything even cheaper ammo exceptionally well. I highly recommend this product as well as the rest of their parts as they have all worked flawlessly.

less than 1/2" at 50

I was at the shooting range this morning, shooting a 10/22 with the second barrel I ordered for you. There were two other club members shooting on the 22 range, both shooting CZ 457s. the "at one" 16 inch and the one was an MTR. They were impressed with the small groups I was shooting with your barrel in a 10/22. all groups were less than 1/2 moa at 50 yards . several were all 5 shots touching.
