Engineering
While this component doesn’t interface directly with the barrel, its rigid
6061-T6 construction and refined tolerances eliminate unwanted play between the
stock and receiver. A stable receiver extension tube reduces shooter-induced
flex and helps maintain more consistent shot alignment—especially important in
lightweight AR builds.
Installation & break-in tips

Verify your stock is mil-spec, not commercial-spec, for proper fit.

Apply a small amount of lubricant to threads
before installation.

Torque the castle nut to
manufacturer-recommended values and stake if desired.

Cycle the stock through all six positions to
ensure smooth movement.
·
Inspect the detent engagement for positive
locking in each position.
