Must have upgrade
Got this for my custom built 10/22 and it's solid. Easy to instal (bout 4-5 mins total) and it does not rattle or wiggle. Used the extended lever, most of my shooting is from the bench. On any of my future builds I will get one of these.

speed release
Installed two of these on our 10/22's Excellent fit. Takes less then 5 mins to install. My wife just started shooting some rim fire matches and this is exactly what she needed for her Ruger 10/22 takedown. Magazine changes and quick and easy for her now

Great product..........
that makes reloading superfast. I use a mag clamp that holds 4 magazines in a cross pattern. That makes it a little clumsier to operate the standard mag release. With the excellent Kidd extended mag release, all I need to do is flick the lever with my (bird) finger, rotate the mag 90 degrees, insert next mag, hit the bolt handle and I am back in business. I have the Kidd Bolt Hold Open, so all I have to do is slap the bolt backwards like a Garand and she's off and running. And all of this happens without my right hand ever leaving it's place on the stock. WIN Win Win!
